How does it work?
The fractional laser delivers intense light in an array
of narrow, focused “microbeams” to create columns of heat
within the skin. The heat within these columns creates zones
of coagulation within the skin that result in inflammation
and initiate a natural healing process that forms new,
healthy tissue. By delivering light in individual microbeams,
the skin is protected from overheating. The end result is a
fresher, more youthful skin tone and texture.
How many treatments would I need?
Treatments are based upon the amount of resurfacing
needed. Typically, 4-5 treatments are needed to achieve the
desired results. Treatments are spaced 4 weeks apart to
allow the skin to heal between treatments.
How long does the treatment take?
Treatments can be as short as 15 minutes for a small area
to up to an hour for a full face resurfacing. |
